Our objective to help develop optical and medical eye-care services principally at three eye clinics (in the mission hospitals of the CCAP Synod of Livingstonia).
To do this, our most important job is to provide funding for the clinical training of mission hospital staff. In addition to that, we send clinical equipment, while providing informal mentoring for trainees and staff. We also aim to support government hospitals with equipment where we can.
It’s quite easy to make yourself useful: we have annual clinical visits; we search out second-hand equipment; we get together to sort, repair and pack it; and we fund-raise too.
You can help with any or all of these whether you are an eye-care professional or not!
