At the end of September we sent off one of our biggest batches of boxes ever! 28 boxes were sent to The Bananabox Trust depot in Dundee, where they will be stored until their next container departure later this month.
Inside the boxes are vision charts and other eye examination equipment, glasses, and various surgical items. Each box is addressed to a specific clinic in Malawi and contains equipment we know each one needs and/or has requested. Many thanks to our donors – and to our ‘intelligent scavengers’ and ‘expert packers’ for their brilliant, painstaking work!
